Markus Schneider

Markus Schneider is one of the top winegrowers in the Palatinate. Fresh modernity and a certain rebelliousness cling to him and his wines. Markus Schneider is and remains a phenomenon, even after more than 20 years in business. He has a large part in the fact that wines from the Palatinate are loved and drunk again in completely Germany. Probably also because he has set standards in the marketing of quality wines since his first bottle was sold.

Cà dei Frati

When Felice Dal Cero took over the farm founded by Andrea Frati on the southern shore of Lake Garda in a dilapidated state, it was not yet foreseeable that the estate, which had already been mentioned in a document in 1782, would one day produce top-quality wines at an international level. But in the course of time, the Cà dei Frati winery, based in Lugana di Sirmione, has recently even rush to create new vineyards and sell its fine wines more and more successfully all over the world. Felice's son Pietro contributed significantly to the recognition of the region of origin in 1969, two years after the foundation of the DOC Lugana, when he marketed the first bottles of the Lugana dei Frati. Through improvements in the vineyard and the cellar, the quality of the estate's wines could be constantly improved. The northern Italian winery is a member of Viticoltori Italiani di Eccellenza, a voluntary association of quality-conscious Italian winegrowers.

Mas que Vinos

Three winemakers met in Rioja in 1998: Margarita Madrigal, Alexandra Schmedes and Gonzalo Rodríguez, three winemakers with many years of oenological experience. The origins of their winery go back to 1851, to Gonzalo's family winery in Dosbarrios, in the Castilian plateau, the Meseta de Ocaña, not far from Toledo. Here the trio founded their own winery in 1999. The revival of regional traditions became the basis of their way of working, which is characterised by the native grape varieties Cencibel, Garnacha, Malvar and Airén. In the organic viticulture, 35 hectares of vineyards are cultivated on the own farm, FINCA EL HORCAJO, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the winery. Near the surrounding villages of Dosbarrios, Cabañas de Yepes and Villarrubia, they cultivate another 35 hectares of bushvines planted with Cencibel and Airén grapes, some of which are over 80 years old. Meanwhile they also cultivate 50 year old vineyards located between Rioja Alavesa & Rioja Alta.

Arnaldo Rivera

Arnaldo Rivera was an Italian teacher, entrepreneur and partisan. For almost forty years he was mayor and primary school teacher of Castiglione Falletto, and in 1958 he founded the Cantina Terre del Barolo, one of the oldest and largest cooperative wineries in Piedmont, which is still active today.
After 37 years at the head of Castiglione Falletto and 30 years as president of the Terre del Barolo cooperative, Arnaldo Rivera died in the late evening of January 10, 1987. In 1990, the city of Castiglione Falletto inaugurated the new "A.
